Splash of Summer

I am very much loving the long summer days and evenings. It makes me feel like I am getting to spend so much more time with my daughter and husband. The battery in my car has decided to leave me stranded until Husband gets me a new one. So we had to make up some fun of our own today without being able to go anywhere. Since my Flower Baby loves the water we put together our little seaside resort and toted it out into the yard. She loves to splash about and stay cool on these hot summer days.

She has splashed herself to sleep and is zonjed out now leaving me time to catch up on some reading. I got stuck in Song of Solomon today. Not a part of the bible that I read often. But it was a refreshing reminder of how sweet love is. Both the love that a husband and wife have for each other and the love that God has for us. I am reminded to make it a point to just adore my husband and encourage him everyday. I am reminded to never forget all of the things God does for us to show us his love.
